Lost in Space

Heaven knows you're still alive
You've reached the ebb in the tide
There's the lonesome road
A brand new world outside
All my love and a prayer
With hope she'd still be there
Standing far below
With arms held way up high

And yet here I am lost in space
Frozen, cold, years floating away
What did I do before I headed off?
Yet in the dark I have seen truth shine
Would someone,at least, please throw me a line?
I'm ready to begin the fall
So grab a hold and bring me home

Lost emotions run away
Begin the end of the day
A timeless overload
In a world so weary eyed
Hollow love calls your name
The view is more of the same
Heavy undertones
While she waves goodbye

And yet here I am lost in space
Frozen, cold, years floating away
What did I do before I headed off?
Yet in the dark I have seen truth shine
Would someone,at least, please throw me a line
I'm ready to begin to fall
So grab a hold and bring me home
